Weekly Family Competitions: Top Results Summer 2010
For those statisticians amongst you, these are the overall summaries of the Summer competitions.
Fishing was sometimes difficult this year, with many anglers returning , to try and improve their positions.

Total Number of Families participating: 85
Total Fish Caught: 1640
Average per competition: 109
Records for 2010: Top Family: Masson family 131 fish
Top Individual: John Bramley 54 fish
Family Fishing Competitions
These are run every Friday morning on the main estate lake (Lake 3) From 10:00 until 12:00 with prizegiving in the reception bar straight afterwards. These are popular events which, occasionally, in High Season , become somewhat oversubscribed! To the left of this narrative; Charlotte and Caitlin show off the results of their efforts. They did exceptionally well, finishing 2nd and 1st on subsequent weeks. Helped by their dad, Rob!
Coaching Onsite
I also arrange coaching sessions for anyone aiming to start out in the hobby, or to brush up on new techniques. Sessions can be booked through campsite reception

As an additional service to campsite users; we stock a limited amount of fishing tackle and baits relevant for use onsite.
Branded Carp Rigs, Pike Traces and a variety of end tackle are available.
Rods, Reels and Whips are also available for hire, at reasonable prices.
In season we have fresh worms and maggots, as well as a variety of pellets and boilies
