This summer, I will be taking sessions for general stillwater fishing on Lac du Jaunay at Chapelle Hermier in the Vendee. The main target species will be Bream, Tench & Roach
Campsite Tuition at La Garangeoire
As last summer, I have been given the opportunity to coach at the site lakes. Predominantly, these will be starter sessions, with tackle provided, in basic coarse angling using 3m & 4m whips.
Lac St Genevieve also gives me the opportunity to coach with Carp & Pike being the targets.
The main site lake allows for both predator fishing for Pike ranging in size from 3kg upwards, & plenty of decent Rudd.
Lac la Croix Blanche
Here, at our own lakes, there are a variety of different methods that can be used, for a great variety of differing species
Pescalis
Again sessions can be arranged here, at Moncoutant, where there is a large variety of angling spread over various lakes & also sections of the Sevre Niortais
Sea Angling
As in previous years, I will be running Sea Fly Fishing tutorials at Bretignolles & Brem-sur-Mer; weather & tidal conditions allowing. It is a superb way of catching small bass & pollack from the rocks. For the larger specimens, lure fishing is a better way to get amongst them!
